IIRC Noel did an unplugged set and sang, and said "sorry Liam's not singing tonight because he's got a sore throat". Meanwhile Liam is in the wings drinking a beer and thinking he's cool. I won't be going but my lads have asked me to try for tickets on their behalf. Happy to do that. I understand the excitement though. I'd feel the same. I saw all the bands which were important to me decades ago on several occasions. There are none I'd like to see reform. However if Springsteen hadn't performed since the 90s I'd be moving heaven and earth to get tickets for as many shows as possible. So, yes I definitely understand people's excitement.

Everyone talks about Oasis and the Beatles. I can never hear it.

Oh dear. I recall when the radio played monotonous Oasis dribble frequently. It was so annoying. Now I still have the damn tune in my head.
