Apologies a rather poor joke about floral foam…. Feel free to groan.

I thought you'd got them mixed up with The Smiths faux reunion rumour to be honest.

A guy on the radio just now was 500,000 in the queue. Absolutely no chance of getting a ticket.
I just think hype and FOMO is a big part of modern society. It will make no overall difference to your life if you see them or not.

I was wondering how the re-sold tickets would be cancelled? Would there be any way to void them at the gate if they've been bought for over the face value? I can't think how they'd even know. Or is it just an empty threat to deter people from paying rip-off prices?

I don't know how but I do know for major gigs last year and this, Springsteen, fans were asked to carry the payment card and photo ID with them to the gates.

Given what TM knows about us all I'm sure they can track at least some tickets. It's very easy to check tickets sold above face value. This screenshot is from Viagogo.

I've listened to them live, I didnt watch. Leeds Fest 2000 they headlined but we weren't interested and retired to the tents to get drunk(er). The lads camped next to us had waited all weekend to see them, they came back and apparently they had been rubbish lol 😆

The Rolling Stones have to be up there as one of the Best British bands from the 1960s onwards.
The Stone Roses were a billion times more talented than Oasis and a better band.

I went to school with Charlie Watts, he was the Librarian at our school library. (Shirley Eaton attended too but she went to the Girls side of the school).

My son bought 2 tickets this morning. Took about an hour. The queue went down quite quickly.

I would estimate demand was probably lower than the online queues suggested. Two of my sons, their partners and I were all logged in separately. We had five people chasing the same four tickets, not five people chasing twenty tickets.

I imagine the demand could have been exaggerated by a factor of three........at least.
