A pedant writes: the benzene is only added to the ethanol (="alcohol") to make it undrinkable, so it can then be sold for chemistry purposes without being taxed. I once had to do an experiment that required ethanol without the benzene. That required a lot of form-filling to obtain!

An unlocked mobile phone. Following an accident with no other vehicle involved, I was found unconscious and still clipped to my bike, I was taken to intensive care. In my cycle jersey I was carrying only the phone, £10 and some keys. The hospital and the police found out who I was and who to phone from my phone's contacts list.
