Sadly I don’t have a tool and I need the bike tomorrow. I might have time to take the wheel to Halfords after work and if it deflates while
I’m at the pool later, will just have to change the tube
pliers will do the job, it doesnt need a specialist tool, just nip the core up tight.
I couldn't find a tool one evening, so made my own.

I‘m about the least technically minded person there is…it’s a miracle i can change a tube or even pump up a tyre![]()
You do know that resistance is futile?.If I call Spa, I'll end up ordering the bike I'm resisting!

It turned out there was (also) a hole in the tubeI’ve swapped out a valve cap on each bike for one that has a tool for tightening the valve core Might be worth getting some for the future.

Condor own brand tubes have a non removable valve core. Also I tend to try and tighten up the core as much as possible with pliers or a v small spanner. It’s seems that only my Lezyne Lite drive pump seems to want to take the core with it.
