Hello, I'm flying from Bilboa to Manchester with my bike. Ticket booked. Will my bike be packaged up by airport staff or will I have to do it if so how?

hi all, just like to say hello and tell a bit about myself. 51 yr old male, married, 2 kids,17 and 21.
have always cycled, right from a kid, especially in school holidays ( no computers games then).when i was 16 i cycled down to my siters farm in the new forest in 1 day (150 miles) from leicestershire, up the next day helping out with bailing straw,i think all i took with me was probally cheese and tom sarnies, never heard of gels etc then. guess what? when i was 45 i did it again, but this time it took me nigh on 2 weeks to recover. age just seems to creep up on you.I use a road bike now, nothing special mind, but it does me just fine, like to go out most sundays on a 40 mile route. Next year hoping to do lejog, been in that forum, loads of useful info, so thats me, really enjoy looking aroun this sight, who knows might get to meet some of you someday. t t f n.

Hi everyone I'm new here so thought I would say hi to everyone,
I'm from Romford Essex and have just bought a Scott speedster S50 FB 24 2010 of my mate but I've just found out the crank is loose with side to side movement.

Does any one know how I tighten it up. At all also do I need any special tools to do it.

Thanks simon

Hi There. I'm 53 and new to cycling. Just got fit after losing 3 stone to deal with high blood pressure and chorestoral (now gone). Got my first road bike last week (Boardman Team Carbon...cleared out my savings!). So feel like "all the gear but no idea" hopefully will pick up some Newby tips from this site. Cheers Glenn
