To be fair, if Jamin had cleaned the bike every day like you do, it would probably have come off anyway by now

The SKS chromoplastics on mine have been good. I've got narrow ones though as I have 23mm tyres rather than the stock CX ones. I think they look pretty decent too... well as decent as mudguards on a bike are possible to look.

hi jamin .. to the cx club...have these fitted on mine http://road.cc/content/review/2716-tortec-reflector-mudguards they were on when i got the bike but am very impressed with them .. aso noticed you have same rack and trunk bag as me ..dose yours rattle at all mines doing my head that much poss removing it this w/end and putting up for sale (cant stand rattles on my bike)

Thanks for the link. The only noise I hear from my bag is when I go over a pot hole or very rough ground. Apart from that I sometimes have to check its still there and hasn't fallen off!

It was that photo of your bike I saw a while back that made me want a boardman cx

I have the same bag and rack-ish, and mine rattles a bit over less than perfect roads.
Am in the process of adding some packing/padding to see if I can lessen it a wee bit.

There are one or two other little noises I need to track down, possibly the full guards.

Use SKS Chromos - have them fitted on my Hybrid Pro - so they should fit on a CX too.
