Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet......................

Glad you are Ok....any knowledge of what may have caused the fall........

I have absolutely no idea what may have caused the fall. It was 6.30pm so not late at all and I'd had no alcohol for more than a fortnight, good nutritional food and when the intensive care took my bloods, they discovered there was nothing unhealthy in my system at all. I've never smoked in my entire life and I'd never taken any poor substances. I do not remember how or why I collapsed like a deck of cards and had no other reason so it is totally mysterious!

I had a faint for the first time in my life just before Xmas, but I was lucky enough to be reclined in a chair doing the crossword. Had I not been, then I could easily be in your position. I really do wish you a quick & complete recovery - there but for the grace of God, go I. I fully understand the trauma of finding that you are not quite as invincible as you thought, but to simultaneously suffer such a catastrophic injury must really knock you for six. Look after yourself and best wishes.

'kin 'ell Paul! I've missed your total dedication to the lost cause of Liverpool - it's been too quiet

All the best with your recovery. Scary stuff but good luck:girl::eek::girl:

Fcuk me Paul, that's a shocker. Wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.

There but for the grace of God go all of us...

We have had a 30 something family friend drop-dead out of the blue last week. Might I indulge this thread with the advice that; If you're not having fun tomorrow, do something different so that you'll have fun every tomorrow. Life's too short.

Get well soon. Best wishes FF.

Glad to see you posting again!

Thanks for your gratitude.

As far as where my fingers were, I have to let you know that both my hands had big drips put in them. They are both still bruised and I pulled one out one day so they placed a drip in my foot. The bruising in the foot's gone but there is some nerve damage and the right foot is totally numb! I hope the pain and loss os feeling leaves quickly!
