Blimey get well soon mate, that is really scary to read and I can imagine will stay with you for quite a while. Take it easy and no doubt your positive attitude has helped you do so well in your recovery so far.

All the best.

Glad you're on the mend PaulB - head injury's a bit scary and long lasting so watch out for those ongoing problems and don't be afraid to get some medical advice on anything you're concerned about. It's nearly 3 years after my episode and I'm still in touch with my local Head Injury Therapy Unit.

All the best.

Aye, I have an appointment with the neurological dept. tomorrow for the first time in eight days and they will do some tests and give some advice. They have also forbidden me from driving due to the ongoing neurological deficiency so I'm hoping to impress them with some development and they will contact the DVLA and get me driving again (I never had any driving problems at all. I'd driven to Anfield earlier that day and everything went perfectly normal). I didn't know you had three years ongoing and I'm hopeful the ongoing in my case comes to an end.

Blimey, that is one scary story. However, it is heartening to hear that you have such a positive attitude and that because of that you are making a good recovery. Fingers crossed you get back to your old self!

Bloody hell, glad you are on the mend.

Cheers, Lee. I was on a ventilator in the intensive care the night you used the tickets for the Arsenal game I sent you!

That's both heartening (that you are now doing well) and terrifying (the original fainting episode). Pleased to know you are looking to the future and the possibility of riding again - that's always a good thing.
