Good morning from a mostly sunny and yet again very chilly Suffolk. Coffee has been had and there's a load of washing on the go that has just started the rinse cycle. Once that's finished, I've got it on the clothes horse and then had some breakfast, I may get out on the bike for an hour or so if it stays dry.

Yet another of my former work colleagues has decided to get out and have a proper life by taking early retirement. He's having a leaving do late afternoon today in a pub within walking distance of one of the stops on the local rail line, so that's this afternoon sorted for me.

Got some sleep last night, but I had a few glasses of wine - still knackered after 3 days of on the settee. I keep looking at 'used' bikes on ebay - top end stuff that no-one wants because they are rim braked. Some right bargains. I'm not pressing the buy button as MrsF will break the other side of my pelvis.

It's tempting to fill the garage and wait your time 😁

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree.
that brings back memories!

I did it last time - broke my spine, after 3 months got back on the old MTB for short rides along the canal. Couple of months later.. went to meet MrsF for lunch near her work. She went back to work, I wandered into Halfords (next door to the coffee shop) and bought a Boardman Pro full suspension MTB, and 'hid' it in the garage for a while. She's wise to it now.
