A quick Q for the Mundane Massive.. When do I need to use 'old' postage stamps by as I've just found several in a draw?
Or can I do swappsies at the local Royal Mail establishment? 🤔

You have to swap them by post but download the form from Royal Mail and it is freepost to send it back. The original cut off date was end of January but that has been extended. Cannot remember when the old ones can no longer be used but I think February.

Dry morning and light wind so I may just wind myself up and get out on trike as tomorrow seems horrendous with 56mph winds.

Another disaster as the handle has fallen off my favourite kitchen pan. It is aluminium but the fixings are ferrous and have rusted to nothing.
Better to get a new one as alu. pans are not recommended these days for health reasons tho' at my age that is the least of my worries.

Why not just eat them? Wasteful consumer society strikes again.
But they taste soggy and soak up all the milk!!

Thanks. I'll be off to the Royal Mail site when I fire up the laptop later 👍

I was wondering !
Does the time for animals with a short time span slowly or just the same as ours ?
Do the animals know that they have only a short time to live ?
I was thinking of a May Fly waking up one morning and thinking !
"Ugh!" " Why did I bother waking up today ? "

Time doesn't pass at a consistent rate, the speed at which time passes varies a lot, another question is, are we aware when the end is near? I remember when I was having my heart trouble I felt like I hadn't got enough time left.

We used to have a "factory inspector" first aid box which was forbidden to use. There was a "working" one for anybody who needed anything from it.

I worked at an engineering company (about 80 on the shop floor). One guy doubled up as our h&s......his well earned nick name was 'fix it or fcuk it Fred'.
One day we had visitors from BNFL as we we trying to get work from them.
There was a loud crash from above and a pair of legs came through the ceiling......it was Fred making his appearance.

I was thinking a similar thing t'other day with Bonnie the Bichon. Does she know she's actually a dog, let alone the breed. I doubt she cares as long as she's fed, watered, walked & loved.. 🐶

I was wondering why you needed to change them and then it dawned. Doesn't the postal service have more pressing matters to deal with? what happens if you still have some after the swapping deadline?

If you put the postage in correctly and add those randomly is it treason?

Also I seem to remember that it was technically illegal to stick a stamp to a letter so the head was upside down in the UK, or was that a myth?
