At 0530 Calmac sends out a message about possible disruption to sailings today and then at 0800 sends another one telling us to disregard the last message.
Sun is currently shining but clouds are scudding across the sky from the NW with showers forecast
The Coop gets faint praise for perhaps listening to customers but still complaints about not stocking stuff people want like oatmeal and bread flour to give just two examples of not supplying what the customer wants.
Rooting through a desk which I have not looked in for years I found 9 second class stamps. I think I have missed the deadline to exchange them for the bar code ones. Not make much difference anyway as I hardly ever use stamps now as everything is electronic. Lots of photographs and assorted documents as well.
The desk has a scratch at the front where one of our cats attempted a jump to the top but did not quite make it and fell down backwards leaving a long scratch mark in an attempt to hold on.

The flight path to Heathrow has placed itself directly over my head. I'm watching a succession of planes heading west with a noticeable drift as their noses point slightly north. WNW wind.

Yay, my 22 year old Nissan has passed it's MOT with flying colours. It's only done 3,200 miles in the last year ! Similar mileages for the two years prior ! It did do about 8,000 when I was commuting in it. It needed some work last year though - rear pads/discs and a caliper, plus a suspension knuckle (that took ages to source). Well that's another cheap year of motoring. Front discs and pads need doing this year I reccon, but not till the weather is warm. Less than £100 for the lot.

Dropped it in at 8:30, tested by 10am.

When I pick it up, I'll book daughter's Aygo in for the airbag light to be investigated - I can't trace a fault, nor can my 'ODBC reader' that can read airbag faults - it's not connecting to the SRS module - but it connects to my car SRS !
