Whilst talking to my cousins they said that I looked like my granddad! I hope not as he died in the 50's! I did notice that there was a family likeness with some of my cousins but not all. It is strange how similarities will skip a lineage and pop up later. The Prince of Wales doesn't look like his dad but looks similar to Prince Albert. In their case there was a lot of close relatives marrying one another.
It lead to think why we find some people beautiful. It would seem that we have a blank jigsaw puzzle with a piece missing which contains the precise dimensions which we believe to be beautiful.

Good morning from what has turned into a bright and sunny Suffolk after a cloudier than expected start to the day. Coffee has been had and a load of washing is currently on the go thanks to a mixture of solar and battery.

I'm going to have a slow morning and then decide which way to go on today's ride out for lunch once the washing's done and out on the whirlygig.

Finally, after almost six weeks (from finding my fractured pelvis - six weeks after breaking it - total 12) I should have my images of my scans today, so I can actually see the mess I made. This is all just in-time for my Trauma Orthopaedics appointment on Thursday ! Need to go in 'armed with the facts'. Just hoping I can get another scan to see how the healing is going. Praying they don't intend to open me up and do a complete hip replacement.

Postie is late, he tried a delivery yesterday, note through door saying re-delivery today. Needs a signature.

Edit, it's arrived but it's on CD - laptop doesn't have a CD - could pop on the computer under the telly though !
