That's a tough one to deal with.

Son hoovering room, surprise or suspicion.
After midnight? Social sensitivity?

I have one of those. He tells me he was late getting up because he was playing music last night. His night seems to end about my breakfast.
I'm also his landlord. So have to send him a warning letter following representations from the management company.
How did I get here?

Well, said awkward son stepped up and helped me replace faulty hinges on the windows of his flat. This is delightful progress.

The flat he rents and I sleep soundly with the owner.

That's this evening's hot chocolate just made.

A lovely few hours out this morning & afternoon with a 60 mile bike ride under clear skies and light winds - when the sea breeze did pick up as I got near home it wasn't half chilly though. Should sleep well tonight. Other than that I've done the sum total of bugger all which is just the way I like it. Tuesday may be the lunch out that I've promised myself from the diesel money not used on Saturday.

In one of those weird bits of logic in need of shopping but too tired to cycle the car went to Waitrose so its clock got reset. Also I was not sure whether bananas would be present in any suitable amount. Took some digging through ones fit for chucking but eventually found two decent ones. Going there I was followed by a car with a fixed amber nearside front light - MOT failure coming up.
£2 worth of app vouchers used and the free in store paper with two sudokas in it picked up.

I think spring time has finally arrived. I was able to change my woolly hat for a baseball cap.

I had the P.S. Waverley cap I bought on board when I sailed on her a few years ago in the car, so I put it on. I got stopped walking down the street by a group of Glaswegians tourists who spotted it.

I had a very leisurely drive home and was all over the place with many stops. I managed to buy a few books along the way. Only 59 mpg average but it was so stormy on Friday that it dragged the fuel consumption right down. I still completed it on one tank.

I was back in time for my dance class.

Back to work tomorrow.
