It's been a lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit with a brisk, cool breeze.
Slept well. Had a quiet morning doing chores. And somehow managed to scald myself on my left wrist. At least it hasn't blistered, and a dab of Sudocrem has taken the sting out of it.
A lovely lunch of two slices of toast, one with cold, thinly sliced roast beef, the other with this cheddar cheese spread stuff, plus a banana, a pear and two
Kitchen afternoon here, doing all the prep for supper, along with a couple of other bits and bobs. The house smells of onions and garlic somewhat... The other thing I've done is replace the strap on the vintage Longines watch I bought myself for my Cake Day - I picked up a stitched (not glued) pigskin strap on the Bay of E for the massive sum of £3.50. It's actually a little bit too narrow to fill the space between the lugs, but it is very stiff and will relax and soften with wear. Actually, I still have a jar of Hide Food lurking in amongst dad's old upholstery tools...
My judges reports from Saturday are now online
HERE if anyone fancies seeing what I got up to...
Now sat down with a nice

and a biskit.
