The north-easterly breeze has a way of circulating through the open bedroom window so that it was actually distinctly chilly in the wee hours. The window is now shut. I figure enough fresh air got in last night.

Ernie has been generous this month. £475! That will pay for a couple of days away. I haven't been to Wales for a good while....

New watch battery bought - it's only taken me a fortnight to find someone open when I'm available. Plus a coffee and cake just because, although particularly because the new kitchen that SWMBO arrived - it's now stored away until the fitter is available in June (she negotiated a big discount for early ordering).

Good morning from a bright and, judging by the trees the other side of the rail line, breezy Suffolk. Coffee has been had.

Looks like today will have to be a domestics day - bedding change and wash,

Reninds me, I need to change the sheets.

Also, it's blowing a hooley here, so much so that we've had to put blocks under the three wheeled cargo bikes to stop them rolling away.

Part domestics done and just back from shopping. Looks like I'm going to have to add car washing to the chores list - the road grime from a couple of weeks ago I can put up with, a fly by bombing by an incontinent gull on the other hand...
