One trip along the A14 completed in the sunshine

The sound of spring - my next door neighbour bringing his Harley Davidson out of it's winter hibernation.

seeing a hand specialist / surgeon in a cpl weeks. 1st appointment. got a ganglion cyst at the top of an end joint of one finger. hoping for a speedy excision, if not that day, a date soon after. not something for an amateur

Hoping I got the go-ahead for the turbo - only down side it's buried underneath a tonne of camping gear (I think).

Today postman will do naff all.Sunday church painting,Monday cleaning ,Tuesday Wednesday painting outside.I have had enough.

rest is highly underrated. Wifey gives me a dirty look when she asks what I'm doing & I say "resting". but I know better about myself

our next door neighbor is moving soon. she's in the unit right next to us. I will miss her take on all things nature related. I will not miss her growing paranoia. a little jealous tho, because where she is going, they will feed her & do her laundry & she'll no longer have to deal with our rogue condo board

I've just been to the dentist. Both my lips are completely numb, too numb to drink coffee, and I want a mug.

Managed to drop a mattock on my thumb this morning. Not the kind of thing you want to drop on your thumb but lesson learned. Don’t hang heavy tools in the shed on flimsy nails. Thumb still attached so all good. 👍

Well, there is no me sneaking into the recycling depot. Can't tailgate anyone - I get stopped as soon as the operatives spot the 'van' coming down the entrance road. They just check it's got seats TBH. I've yet to use a toll road, so I'm hoping it's still classed as a private car as on the vehicle documents ?

Mundane day today. Dealing with the outside world.
Being a good citizen and attending a project review meeting.
Then cycle and train to a rendezvous with the 'elf service'
That's going to be a bit more inside works than I'd like.
Upon return I'm assigned the conservatory roof washing detail.
Then prepare for a weekend with a chum I have known for over 60 years.

Well I've got through the day.
Another procedure required.

Rewarded myself with an ice cream. But it turned out to be toothpaste flavour.
I'm assured the coconut was responsibly harvested.
