Morning all, been bed ridden since Friday am with flu like symptoms still feel very lethargic and achy limbs .
Only eaten 3 digestive biscuits and a slice of fruit loaf since Friday morning, I tried my normal cuppa on Friday and it has put me right off trying another one yet a while.
I also thought I was going to have to say RIP to my dad on Friday morning as we had an early morning call from his care home as they thought he had a stroke and was totally unresponsive, thankfully it seems he has had a low level stroke but still not responding so not out of the woods yet.

Good morning from sunny Suffolk with just a few

breaking up the blue skies. Coffee has been had after a bit of a poor night's sleep.

A little bit of food shopping needs to be done later on as tomorrow is another away day so I need more travel snacks and something to eat when I get there as I'm taking a later train which means no time to stop for lunch and a drink on arrival.
Also the bike used yesterday needs to be removed from the boot of the car and the seats put back up ahead of Wednesday's MOT - I may use it again today for the shopping.

Hunt for yellowing bananas continued this am with a rare ebiked visit to Aldi and an even rarer use of a pannier for a visit there, that was for two bottles of squash and a box of cornflour.
They did have appropriate bananas although at 16p each maybe should have had a better hunt through them for the biggest.
Sunny but the wind is noticeably colder than yesterday

Easily the best day of the year so far, I was planning on going for a decent length ride for the first time in a while.

My tummy started to feel a bit dodgy as I was getting ready. Here I am, several hours later, still in cycling gear, but still can't venture very far from the toilet.

No idea what has caused this as I rarely have stomach trouble.

Another lovely day although with the slight change in wind direction, it was a bit chilly by the coast mid/late morning. Didn't stop the (to use the late Oldwheels phrase) touroids piling down in large numbers and parking their campervans half on the prom in one area.
Much better inland so I took my time over the shopping and enjoyed the warmth while it lasts.

I nearly cut the grass today 👍

I did - although with the mower on its highest setting it was more a chop and collect device for various twigs etc lying on the grass. All came to a halt when I discovered the wood pigeons, principally, had flicked far too many limestone/cotswold chippings onto the lawn. A less than exciting half a hour relocating them and then finished off with assorted dead stalks etc binned. Seems now to have a tended appearance rather than a mid winter mess.
