Full day out to mablethorpe
sunny but the wind was damn cold , kids went for a paddle but you wouldnt catch me in it this time of year !
Fun fair was closed so that saved me a lot of money and we didnt really look in the tat shops either but i need new shoes as the side of my trainers split away from the sole , i might try to glue them back and see how they go 1st though .
Made a change to have a family day where the kids behaved and mrs ck didnt get a bag on about something so im happy for once.

Fabby supper of red lentil & coconut dhal soup, a cheese & smoked basa toastie, and baked pancakes with a marmalade & sultana cheesecake souffle filling.

It felt so good to be back trackside today - especially in most un-Silverstone like sunshine & warmth. I really must get round to sorting out the MSV season pass before racing starts back up at Snetterton and Brands Hatch.

Today's 73 plate truck has 315029 kilometres on the odometer...

For comparison my car has it's MOT on Wednesday and will 'celebrate' 10 years since it was first registered - it will have done only 121589km

Annoyingly that's 75553 miles and no, I'm not going to drive it round a bit to round things up.

Morning.
It is a little bit murky this morning. The sun is up but it is being masked by some cloud.
We are keeping Georgie in. We have been finding dead birds. 2 in the kitchen yesterday and one the day before. He might be finding dead birds and bringing them in but I suspect that he is hiding and picking on the ground feeding birds. It could be bird flu so as a precaution it will be best to keep him in.
