Maybe it's because I've got better things to do in life instead of looking for conspiracy theories waiting to jump out at me behind every tree. Critical thinking is everything.

As for Trump... Any man who thinks it's socially acceptable to grab pussy in public and boast about it (in his case on camera) gets short shrift from me, regardless of who or what he is, and regardless of their politics. An ex of mine found that out to his cost.

And as for media lies. I rather suspect you have absolutely no experience of life behind the Iron Curtain. Which I do. Thank your lucky stars that you live in the UK, where you can read (or not read) whatever you choose, without prejudice and without censorship.

Long day at work; a double seminar as a colleague was ill, meetings then two consecutive lectures to deliver on different subject areas. I'm not sure I was making sense at the end.

On the plus side it was a nice dry walk each way to the university and it's an approximate 4km each way to save £20+ a day in car park charges. If I can't commute by bike currently at least I'm getting exercise.

Oh, and I'm hoping to be out on the bike tomorrow for the first time since my hand accident before Christmas. There's just a short-ish ride up/down the greenway planned but it's a start.

Ran a few errands up the town after work.

Then went for a 35 mile ride, nice and dry, but pretty windy.

Now going to make sausage, egg and chips for tea.

Oh, and I came across a lead contender for "inconsiderate person of the year" award in the newsagents, who after a stamp and a birthday card or something, stood at the counter and asked to borrow a pen so she could write it and address it with a queue forming behind her. She didn't seem to have the cop on to stand to one side. Of course, she had to go through endless scraps of paper in her handbag to find where she had the address written down. Put stamp on envelope and then spend ages going through her purse only to discover she didn't have enough money to pay for it. She then had to go looking for her husband to borrow money who was in the shop next door. I'm sure none of us minded waiting whilst she demonstrates either a complete lack of understanding or a complete lack of organisational skills.

That was a bit breezy this afternoon - I know I said that I needed some exercise, but not that much!
Shopping has been done, so all that remains is to get travel snacks on Monday and the rest of the time is all mine. And it starts now with a hot chocolate.
