Do you know what "dols" is with regard to elderly mentally infirm Patients? Can look "dols" or is it dolls?

I found it easily: Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. The person who told me about it is dyslexic, so I was not sure he had got it right.

Oi I might be a bit mental but I'm not quite elderly. That said I've been referred to my GP's healthy bones programme. Might get some vit D on prescription.

Fabby supper of Polish beetroot soup, then braised venison meatballs (the sausages I bought, each simply snipped into four, plus some of the beef stock I made) in a shallot and mushroom cream sauce, spaetzle and steamed savoy cabbage.

I am definitely buying those sausages again, they were, by some decent margin, the best venison product I've ever had. (Bent & Cornwell, Market Square, Ely) Can't wait to try the black pudding. I now have very high hopes.

Mystery parcel transpired to be a display case not expected for a couple of weeks. Assembled. Put on the designated shelf and the shelf collapsed Email sent asking for a quote for a replacement shorter side as the original is in bits in the bin.

Home from Leeds late afternoon after a journey under miserably grey skies - at least there was no rain. The overnight bag was emptied and restocked with toiletries, smalls and a change of top ready for next week's three day outing. I'll sort out travel snacks and drinks on Monday when the weather forecast will also hopefully show if waterproofs, thermals or a sun hat will also need to be added.

A quick load of washing has been done, but other than that I've been continuing the do as little as possible theme of the week so far.
