Unfortunately most repairs IME need two visits. One to diagnose and one to do the repair.

Evening hot chocolate went down well .

Think our microwave is not getting things so warm as i use to do 1 min 36 now its 1 min 41 and it could be warmer

We took a load of the foam material and a couple of wooden end frames from our settee to the tip in Melksham this afternoon. Having to have a paper ticket on furniture saying that it has fire retardant doesn't help reducing CO2 especially when it was still in pretty good condition.

Mrs P is so clever.So short tale is.Before Xmas our tv dvd surge box,failed.We bought something short term with a plan to buy a better one.So today she was tidying up around our old not used computer and hey ho,we now use the surge panel from that,saving a few quid,

Might need a recalibrate on the choco-meter. It's in the app that came with the microwave

The motor on my washing machine has stopped working. An engineer will be here on Monday. If it needs a new motor, would that cost me almost as much as a new machine. I am trying to find the receipt or invoice to see how old it is.

The motor around £60.
The price to fit it is the unknown.

Adding about two hours' labour to the cost of the motor, that is still less than a new machine. The Engineer may be able to purchase the motor more cheaply than I can.
