It's Tuesday, thanks Wales NHS. In Cardiff, time for them to cancel the appointment. Whilst it's really expensive.

Best cancel appointment story must be mine.So i am sat in the skin dept waiting room 10 mins before my appointment,my mobile goes off.Well before i could find it,it stopped ringing.So i sat there and waited and waited and waited.So after seeing an old man and his middle age son come in and go straight to a cubicle,i went to the desk,what is going on,i have been sat here well over my appointment time,and seeing those two come in and go straight thorough.He then checks his list,sorry your appointment has been cancelled.When i asked,the time was given,i was sat over there when you rang,this lady booked me in on that computer.Well i am not leaving,and i sat down with other patients who saw how angry i was,Twenty mins later in was seen.

Well, I was *about* to put the turkey stock into the soup, but it didn't smell right. So it's been binned.

An about face, and have used the lamb stock and bone that I had in the fridge, added some pearl barley, and the turkey soup is now a scotch broth.

Miserable day. Cold and raining until it just became cold. Sound of a chainsaw at lunchtime but only the overgrown buddleia next door has been either chopped back or removed completely.
Yellow price label on scones in Sainsbury's did not scan as reduced on the self scanner so that was cancelled and assistance sought at the pay screen.

I think that's the official name. We have several others... We've discovered the shiny new printer is a bit fussy which computer it connects to, so printing the day's accounts involves running up and down stairs to use the standalone printer in the workshop.

No-one dares mention this to the IT department because it means telling them we still use the old Win10 computers, and they'll take them off us in favour of the new system, so we'll have no working computers, so we continue running up and down stairs with the USB sticks...

You shouldn't be running up stairs much less down them, in the workplace.
