Back at the hotel after a very enjoyable and loud evening at the Brudenell. Most un-Yorkshire weather during the day reverted back to normal with a wet walk both ways.

Just made a hot drink and had a bag of crisps as supper.

He's in again, what are the gates made of chocolate, how does he get past security.Jenkins is better than The Black Fingernail, what a carry on.Heads will roll i tell you.
As a word of warning, I'm due back here twice in February - all you need to do is keep an eye on the Brudenell's listings and try to guess which events I'm attending

Well, so long as you keep on using the two exits on the left at the barriers you'll be easy spot.
If you look the next time, you'll see the camera mounted on the wall above the 1st one.

Oh deary me... The tangerine toddler has thrown a temper tantrum, and now it looks like the average American is going to be paying the consequences. Ah well, cut your nose off to spite your face, I suppose...

My condolences to our correspondents over the other side of the pond who will be forking out 25% extra for their coffee.

Hey! I didn't vote for him.

Good morning. Looks like we have your second-hand weather again, which means the Brompton will need a shower tonight.

In other news, I've bought a new memory stick for work, because the issues with the new cloud based computer network have still not been resolved. It takes half an hour to save anything, another half hour to find it again, and an hour to attach it to an email; everyone is getting a stick so we can just keep the files we need on hand and pass them on to colleagues as needed.

Management and the IT Department are getting increasingly irate about this but failing to come up with any solution apart from "Well it just works if you use it correctly"

Morning it is dark out but it doesn't look like rain at the moment. Last night I could hear the rain bashing on our windows and I'm a bit deaf.
