I thought that Columbia had made progress in helping farmers to plant coffee and/or cocoa (?) crops instead of cocaine. If they cannot get a good market/price for their crops, would they go back to growing cocaine? Our correspondents in USA might know more about this.

That was interesting. On ITV Good Morning Britain they said that a couple from the West Country needed to pick up a car from Crewe and found it was cheaper to fly from the West Country to Málaga , spend the night there and then fly up north than to buy 2 rail tickets.

Good morning from Suffolk where the last of the overnight cloud has finally cleared to the east and we have sunshine. Very wet underfoot due to more overnight rain (chucking it down when I went to bed) and it also looks to be a bit breezy.

Coffee has been had and the overnight bag has been put by the front door along with a warm jacket ready for today's outing. Before I go I must retrieve the now empty wheelie bin and put it back round the back of the house.
