Whilst getting some goodies in Iceland today, saw a bag of hot dog rolls in a freezer.
Was reminded of the quip; why are hot dogs sold in units of ten, but hot dog rolls are sold in twelves - ?

cuz 2 will break when you try to open them?

And exactly the same number of days till mine, as you and I share a Cake Day. I actually hit a significant number this year, but since one doesn't ask a girl her age, we'll leave it at that.

I have my next significant number cake day in 22 days - and am looking forward to it as my age will finally reflect my curmudgeonliness

I remember when the guy who ran my local said "Beer will be in 500ml soon" so next time I went in I took a 500ml bottle of Guinness in with me and got a pint glass, poured it in and said to him "you've been serving 500ml for years"..........never any problem when I told him to "top that fecker up" after that
