A grey and decidedly chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.
Sleep was middling. Morning was spent doing a bunch of chores and ironing my white coat so that it's ready for tomorrow - I am stewarding at a cat show in St Neots. I also found the sock that the parental was insisting still must be in the washing machine in my undercracker drawer. Her socks, not mine, as my socks have a tendency towards pinkness. I knew I hung up the pair on the clothes horse the other day, but the parental was the one who put the laundry away... Ah well, at least I'll no longer get my ears bashed over said missing sock!
Had a quick luncheon of black forest ham on toast, some fruit and a
before restocking the house with firewood to last till the end of the weekend. I had intended sawing up some logs this afternoon, but my get-up-and-go has gotten up and buggered off. So I've sat by the fire and done some writing instead. The logs can wait till Sunday.
