How many did she have? I would keep three or four of the more unusual ones. They do not take up much space.

I still have one of my Father's watches, some cufflinks, a bow tie, and two of his cameras.

True enough, they don't take much space at all, it's just that they're no use to me. There are 5, and the 6th has gone missing.

free day. what to do, what to do ... slept late w/ the cat, had breakfast & coffee. not used to this much freedom!

My brain is goo and I need a new pair of feet, but I had a lovely day stewarding at the joint Exotic & Blue-Cream shows in Buckden. The judge I was stewarding for is hard work - she is slow and prone to ignoring the rules, so you have to really be on your best game to get her through her book unscathed. It's like pulling teeth...

OTOH I did have some fabulous cat cuddles - there were four gorgeous torties in competition as well as some other cats I've become very fond of over the years. And at the end of the day, I had some lovely cuddle time with a beautiful tortie-tabby & white Exotic that belongs to a friend. She's such a lovely cat, and a real joy to handle. I almost squeezed her into my pocket to bring her home!

We got a home-cooked lunch, but oh dear... :headshake: Still, I'm not going to diss a free lunch that was hot and filling, but let's just say I made good use of the supplied condiments.

Now sat by the fire with a :cuppa: and a packet of chocolate biskits, listening to Arsenal v Villa.

Dull 4 degrees and chilly wind. Sort of tided the spare room and then hoovered it with the hoover having an empty dust box. Less than exciting half hour then sorting through the contents of the dust box and actually found something I had lost along with other bits I did not know I had lost.
