A day of bits & pieces today.
Got the parcels to the Post Office in time as one had to out special next day delivery before 1pm and needed to be in the system before 11am.
This done I carried on to Lidl and treated myself to some crusty rolls and cumberland sausages which were had for tea this evening.
A bit of bike fettling was done on the new toy and another ride was had to check the fettling.
Coffee, squash and snacks were had at the appropriate intervals and this evening's hot chocolate has just been finished.

I had some good news this morning. My next door neighbours have taken their house off the market. Apparently the housing market is very flat.

So instead they are making some improvements to the garden, including an outdoor hottub. Before @fossyant falls off his chair laughing, they fortunately have one of those systems where the sunlight heats water, rather than producing electricity.

They are very quiet neighbours, and who knows what any new neighbours would be like.

Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't know.

A bit of late night kitchen puttering has resulted in a pot of red cabbage braising away.

Used up one of my 15p Christmas red cabbages, and have added two fresh bay leaves from the garden, three shallots, two Cottenham Seedling apples, a chopped up poached clementine, kashmiri chillies, allspice, ginger, cinnamon, freshly ground black pepper and an individual (200ml) carton of apple juice.

Time to bank the fire and head off to bed via a nice hot bath.

What a load of bollows! Cows being responsible for all the CO2. So our farmers are being blamed for what South American farmers are doing!
Some councillors are advising people to put oatmeal milk and other alternatives to milk in their tea and coffee instead of milk. Is there an idiot selection board which selects these people ?

I just drink 'Green Tea' (Chinese Tea) which does not need the addition of 'CowJuice' to make it palatable unlike Black Tea (Indian Tea)

Good morning from a chilly but frost free Suffolk. Coffee has been had.
No Idea what I'm going to be doing today, although there's a couple of bikes that could do with a bit of road muck removal if can be bothered.
