fwiw, sometimes if a fingertip needs TLC, I'll cut a finger off a disposable glove, put an anesthetic/antibiotic creme on it, put the glove finger over it & hold it in place w/ a band aid

Had someone done this a few months ago they wouldn't have been in surgery after me last week. It wasn't their finger that was being worked on. It'd got badly infected before they went to the doctor and, having lost that finger, they were trying to save the arm.

Another frosty one, but without the ice sheet that we had yesterday. Breakfast consumed from a round plate this morning.

Plans yet to be determined.

Local Roads are frosted but main routes are clear and treated with respect.

Journey to my parents was nice and quiet and the roads were quiet as well.

No frost here so it was a quick departure for the car. Asda for deep heat patches (on offer @£4 for 4 and dated Aug 2027), Waitrose (Nakd bars £2 for 4 and the voucher savings of £1.50 on a bag of oranges and yet again a cottage pie) and Sainsbury's ( mackeral actually in stock now no app offers on it)

£1.65 for a walkers 6 pack of crisps or £1.25 for a single size packet .

Crisps use to be 25p for a multi pack

Good morning from a grey, cold and frosty Suffolk. It took some time to persuade myself to leave the warmth of the duvet to make the first coffee of the day after a good night's sleep. The coffee has been had and I'm thinking about having an early second one to keep myself warm.

Do I go out today to get some food in for the next few days or hope for a small dry period tomorrow to get it?

Yep there was Smith and Parker, Sid Mottram. Leedhams and I forget the name of the other one up Upperton Rd. Julies is still going but they're on Clarendon Park Rd

Today's 73 plate truck has 236944 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Clifton (Nottingham, not Bristol). Later, if I'm unlucky, it will take me to Milton Keynes.. Turn left at the 13th roundabout..

On the occasions that I have to go into central MK, that almost continual 'At the next roundabout take the ... junction' from the sat nag drives me mad.
