Time to bank the fire and head off upstairs to bed. I think I shall need an extra set of base layers tomorrow.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:

I have some rail to trail here, as the old Illinois Central Charter Line is abandoned, giving us about 40 miles of trails in town, and a bicycle trail has also been built along old Route 66 for quite a distance as well And some old Illinois Terminal Interurban tracks as well have been paved for all this.

there we go. they're all over. 👍 I especially like the ones where they lifted the rails & cross ties & all that remains is the RR bed. sometimes w/ course gravel but often that gets filled in w/ leaves & fallen branches. we have a few that also entertain the equestrian set

I live in a town with four cycle shops between the 2 cities that comprise it.

When I was young one road in Leicester had 4 bike shops on it, well to be fair one shop was a hundred yards along a turning and they did Mopeds as well and another morphed into a Honda dealership (but still sold cycles as well)..............all gone now.

Morning.

Dark here but I can see that the sky is clear and we have a hard frost.
