thats a bit like me , i have been doing my shifts and sundays for months and friday i finished at 11.45 pm then was up at 6.30 as i had to lead the club ride saturday .In the afternoon we took the kids to the local garden centre as they had an ice skating ring then chippy tea after which i zonked out.

Glad I'm not alone. Ibuprofen is my friend today.

pah thats sweeties , i have been on co codamol for about 2 weeks to be fair now im not working my hand feels ok so i reckon the pins have not liked the cold and damp .

Today im chilling as we are having x mas dinner today to fit around family commitments , we have a roast sunday anyway so its just a fancy lunch with crackers and party hats .

Sun's out, but the river is very high: not high enough to threaten the defences, but higher than I've seen it in a while and carrying substantial pieces of tree. The source of the Neckar is nearly 60 miles away from here, where the Swabian Jura meets the Black Forest, and it has clearly been raining up there...
