That will be not far short of 320,000 miles. One of easier approximations to do in your head.

Yes, I would do it by halving the mileage and then adding one quarter (of the half).

Turned out to have an afternoon Aldi trek brought about by the need to get some contact adhesive from B& Q. En-route dropped off some used coffee pods for recycling. Wind seem less vicious than this morning and Aldi was surprisingly not rammed. Picked up a bag of apples that otherwise would have been a Monday morning purchase and some greenish bananas for later in the week. The weighing of bananas did not last they have quickly gone back to charging per banana.
No Strava recording of the walk as my phone battery was low and I could not get a battery pack to charge it.

No puncture repair kit or Park patches in your saddle bag?

You got your compact pump with you?

The mattress has not arrived yet. Been in since 13:42, which is what I should have typed up thread. I have, tidied a cupboard, got the bed ready for the new mattress, repotted my cheese plant (it does not grow cheese, sadly), played with the dogs and tried to encourage the new dog on to the sofa. She came up for a small cuddle but has decided to lay on a dog bed now.

The mattress comes rolled, I believe, so I can stagger across the living room with it. My main worry is ‘airlocking’ between front door and living room door as I have the tinyest hall in the world, and not letting a Lurcher and 2 ex racing greyhounds, who have not been here a month yet, out on to the road and then off for a jolly sprint across the village.

Still grey, miserable and windy (not me, the weather) and there was a 5 minute cloudburst earlier. Shopping has been done and, with the possible exception of a loaf of bread and some milk, that's it until the 27th. I'll leave it to everyone else to panic buy 3 weeks worth of food because of the shops being closed for 24 hours.
