The Patient had a telephone call from his GP this afternoon. The diagnosis is double inguinal hernia and diverticular disease or diverticulosis. He will be referred to a Specialist for further tests/investigation.

Diverticular disease can be extremely painful and need antibiotics like co - amoxiclove followed by careful diet. Don’t ask how I know.

Another grey dismal day but no wind so the calm before the storm.
Next couple of days when I should be travelling are certain to have cancellations so probably stuck till Monday which means the long diversion as they are pretty certain to have no spaces unbooked on the short crossing.
This leads to all sorts of ticket problems caused by the new system of scanning as if I do not turn up subsequent bookings are automatically cancelled.
I should have used the workaround of getting singles both ways with separate bookings instead of a return on one booking number.
Typing anything on this new iPad is a nuisance as it seems to scatter capital letters where I do not want them but miss them out when I do. Full stops also appear at randome.

Early morning gym no sooner done a quick turn round at home then made a trip to M&S. Since moving out of town it needs a bit of planning as I wont have the car. Any time really before Christmas so walk down armed with bags and rucksack. I managed to get some of the veg and fresh stuff for Christmas. My get the rest once MRs 73 gets home , have to see if I feel like battling though at that time of day. Had a sparks offer for box of mince pies , so treated myself to some. So once home and a few :cuppa: looks like i've ended up finishing the box :hungry:.
Now checking and crossed referencing my to do and get lists. Just a few things to get now but that's for later in the week from the Market and our local Tescos.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Just had to order a new fridge freezer
mini ck 1 was doing something a few months ago and tried to pull one of the shelf bits out with the coolant in and bent it so we had to take the plastic drawer to shut the door and since then the freezer ices up and i have to scrape it off every couple of weeks just to get food in so i reckon it is knackered .

Had to call into Morrisons a simple in and out shop. It was like a war zone , trolleys stacked high with drivers who have no idea what it's doing or who it's heading for. Staff rushing around stocking up shelves , mostly bothered about getting even more booze onto the shop floor.
At the other end of scale staff busy condensing down the seasonal sections. So looks like no more stuff is coming what left is all they have.
Then called into quality save , walked down what was Christmas stuff and did a double take , it's now full of gardening stuff.
Pushing people into buying earlier and earlier will back fire it's giving people less time to save and suppliers will be on shorter and shorter lead times. They will come a time when they need more stock and the supplies will have moved on to next thing in the supply calendar.
