The Patient had a telephone call from his GP this afternoon. The diagnosis is double inguinal hernia and diverticular disease or diverticulosis. He will be referred to a Specialist for further tests/investigation.
Hopefully he'll get full answers.

A completely indoors day while the various work was being done - what a waste of good sunshine.

The panels were up and the fitter left around 12:30 with no sign of an electician to complete the work or contact from the office to either of us to advise on arrival time. When I finally got through to them to find out what was happening, they were a bit evasive, but someone finally turned up around 15:00 so it looks like they'd forgotten to book anyone. This chap ended up having to do the last half the job in the darkness and cold, so wasn't happy with the office team.
Obviously as it was dark on completion, I don't know if everything is working correctly so will need to check when I finally surface on Friday.

Rant over - there's a hot chocolate to be drunk.

Penultimate day of day training completed. The whole thing has been a shambles and we still have no manager and no real idea what we are doing next week. We can work at home next week but not sure what we actually do.

The weather has become noticeably colder and there probably will be a bit of frost tonight.

My internet is is running at the sorts of speeds achieved by an arthritic slug going through treacle.

I appear to have lost my staff card this afternoon somewhere between two rooms. The result is I can't get into the university until the New Year when they have to print me another one. Oh dear ...

More annoyingly there was also £7 on a university loyalty card that was lost with it.
...How sad, never mind!

(If you're of the right age to remember)
