I’ve found my missing sock!

About 2 months ago I lost a brand new patterned sock. It went in the wash and never came out which really confused me.

I found it this morning in the sleeve of my jumper. Luckily I still have to other one.

And I inherited someone's vest today, which I didn't see when I loaded up the machine. So when they say "It'll all come out in the wash" we know it's not true. Or it is true but not necessarily in that wash.

Doing as little as possible successfully achieved. The kitchen floor was steam mopped late morning and I then went out for an hour and a bit's walk while it dried and to get some lunch. Mostly windy but with clear skies and warm sinshine for at least 45 minutes which made for a very pleasent stroll while listening to a couple of podcasts.

After the late lunch and a coffee I hauled a bike out of the shed and went for a quick ride before it got dark to give myself a bit of thinking time about a potential purchase, promptly settling down on the sofa and having a quick snooze when I got home.

It's now time for this evening's hot chocolate which will be followed by an earlyish night as Thursday is attempt number two for the solar panels to be fitted and I need time to get going in the mornings these days.

Grandkids in our care had a getting together with their half brother (10) at a trampoline type place for a couple hours...so I took myself off to a local chipshop and had a lovely haddock and chips.

Only two more days of training left and all assignments passed. Our outgoing manager called in to see us today and just shrugged his shoulders and said he has no idea what we are supposed to be doing next week. Someone has clearly dropped the ball.

Another dreich day. I ventured out for a twenty miles. Not much wind unlike all my other rides this week but some horrible showers and it's turned noticeably colder. I could have done with another layer.

I've been preoccupied with my mother's funeral to the extent that I've put Christmas on hold. The odd thing is that Santa Claustrophobia hasn't set in yet. I've booked the 23rd for a planned panic.
