Wet and windy with morning ferries cancelled.
Tried for GP appointment but there is only one doctor on today so only one emergency appointment. Best they can do is tomorrow morning so just need to survive until then tho' I am not sure what can be done apart from amending medication.
I think I saw a bin lorry going past earlier so when it gets daylight I need to try to retrieve my bin. A neighbour would take it up for me but I prefer to be independent.
To add to the woes the internet got disconnected earlier but I think I managed to reconnect so after refreshing this and earlier pages I may be able to post.

The last week of training, I'm first again. Awaiting the traffic update when the trainer gets here! How can someone get away with being late for work every single morning?

A very mild morning here, although still pitch black outside.

In a few days, the days will start getting longer. :wahhey:

Ferry eventually made an attempt to sail to Oban.
The problem is the swell coming up the Firth of Lorne. In the past they sometimes took a different route round the island of Lismore which is a little more sheltered and the swell is on the bow or stern so rolling is not a problem. Never seem to do that nowadays.
Earlier the Iona ferry was taken out of service to assist a fishing boat in trouble at the Torran Rocks, a very dodgy place.
Cynics are posting wondering how many complaints there will be about their ferry being late.
Something similar did happen here when a ferry waited for a blue light ambulance. A tour guide complained bitterly that his group would be late for their dinner. For some unknown reason he was never seem here again.

Just made some pancakes to pass the time and later I will get some oatcakes on the go. This saves me making a loaf just for a couple of days before my hoped for trip off.
