It's been a very mild but rather soggy and squelchy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Didn't have the best night's sleep, but had a nice lie in. Did some chores in the morning e.g. topping up wood bins in the house, doing a load of laundry, re-jigging the fridges in the house and utility room, that sort of stuff.

Afternoon has been spent watching the snooker, keeping tabs on the assorted football and listening to the F1 from Losail. I am now back watching the snooker again.

A slightly random (but very tasty) supper was had of scotch broth, then the last of the spicy mexican chicken & veg, some home made egg fried rice and a nice helping of steamed savoy cabbage on the side.

The barmaid has gone AWOL and I'd like another drink!
Self service an option?

The milk gets nuked for 1 minute 30 seconds, then the chocolate powder is stirred in followed by another 40 seconds in the microwave.

And it's nearly time for that to be done.

Paste made with a little bit of boiling water, chocolate powder and a wee bit of freshly-grated nutmeg, then pour the cold milk in slowly, stirring well as you go. When mug is full and drink blended, *then* it goes in the microwave.

Makes for a smooth, rich and silky hot chocolate.

So you add your chocolate powder after the Zapping .

Must admit I prefer to mix up a small amount of milk with the cocoa and sugar into a paste before adding the milk.

It's about time Ernie visited.. He's been a bit rubbish recently!

Yes hopefully I could retire on Tuesday but I doubt it very much.
