Morning.
Not sure what it is doing outside. It looks grey and our cars look wet. Georgie came in for his breakfast but he didn't feel wet. He insisted on playing a few games after having his breakfast. We played with his Christmas pudding, Polar bear and then the scrunched up aluminium football until he lost it. He then went back outside again.

Right just back from an early morning walk. Today will be mostly a catch up day after a few days of busy work. Though Mrs 73 has been more active round the house on her days off. So has done some of the house work this week A few things have arrived the last few days inc our new mattress which needs sorting. Though it vac packed and needs 5 hours to poof up. May have to wait for tomorrow when Mrs 73 will be around to help. Charlie's new bed also arrived yesterday he's still working out if he likes it but has and a good sleep in it yesterday afternoon.
The washing is almost down but will have wait as I'm off into town early. Then I can make a start putting away the extra Tesco shopping for Christmas that came just as I got back from work yesterday.

I've seen a marvellous ad on the TV where a lady puts some pads on and is able to do exercises without getting wet. I was wondering if you could wear them on the outside so that you don't get wet when out riding on a bike without mudguards?

replace the mudgaurds with them ?
In other news I have been trying to get mini ck 1 up for the last hour as she has a haircut booked at 9 am and she still hasnt stirred so looks like she is going to miss it .

Among and amongst seem to be pretty much interchangeable here. While and whilst are pretty much the same, though I usually use an arbitrary distinction of choosing ''while'' to mean 'at the same time' and ''whilst'' for when it's used to contrast.
I was asleep while you were exploring the Christmas garden. Children enjoy festive decorations whilst I tend to find them a bit too gaudy.

Not sure what the weather is going to do today.
Not currently raining and blink of sunshine but better to wait a bit before deciding whether to get the trike out or not.
Did most of my shopping yesterday and last minute frozen stuff gets done tomorrow.
Still get an oops on some posts but only on some I dare not name.

Not sure what the weather is going to do today.
