Had a good samaritan at lunchtime. Co-op trek and walking away heard someone shouting exuse me. Turned round and a lady ran up to me carrying the TV guide I had left at the till

Today I have been called Freddie
Today i helped a real Postman.I was looking out of our window to see what the world was doing.Ok a curtain twitcher,i saw the Postman drop something behind him.So i went out to see what it was.It was a Christmas card.So i shouted him back,he was so grateful,please dont tell my boss,no chsance.

A damp and windy day and an early start at 0530 to get the only ferry I could get booked on.
Driving 21 miles in the dark is not fun nowadays and not something I want to repeat anytime soon.
My friendly slug has appeared again at my kitchen sink. Took about a month to get back and flushed away again.
A driech day and it never really got proper daylight before night appeared again.
Bit the bullet and got a new iPad from Argos. Will take a bit of getting used to but this is being written on it. So far so good.
Had to check the date as Oban was heaving with shoppers and had to make sure it was November and not the 29th December.
Homebase is having a closing down sale but that could not make such a massive impact across the whole town.

Homebase Moor Allerton near us is closing.It does a great trade so i cannot understand why.
