It's been a mixed bag weatherwise here chez Casa Reynard. Grey, rainy and cool till early afternoon, then clear, blustery and very cold.

Slept well despite waking up several times during the night. I had intended to go to Huntington this afternoon, but with the gales and risk of ice, I have given it a miss. What I need to do isn't urgent, so it has been deferred to either tomorrow or Friday. I spent the time instead sorting out the wood stores in the garage.

The parental likes to deposit wood wherever there's a convenient space, ergo stuff gets jumbled up. I like to store firewood by size / type so it's easy to see what I have in. And I also needed some space to put the trailer contents so that I can go back for another load later this week. So after this afternoon's efforts, the garage is nice and tidy again and I'm less *aaaaargh* when I look at my firewood stash.

I plan on having a quiet evening writing and watching the snooker.

Very cold, foggy and icy here today and never really cleared up. Was pretty cold on my walk home from work.

I'm going to see a stage adaptation of A Christmas Carol tonight (although spell check keeps trying to change it to A Christmas Caroline, whoever she is!).

I've been checking that my commute is about 4KM according to Google maps so I am walking 8KM per day and about to add another 3ish KM round trip to the theatre.

Another cold sunny day but got a walk at the sunny end of the town and looked at shops I normally drive past as I stayed on the pavement.
My MacBook and iPhone seem to have automatically downloaded and installed the new Calmac app but my iPad refuses as it is only version 12.5.7 and they need over 13.1. I will try an overnight update but I doubt that will work.
The old iPad is getting bit clunky and slow and I have been considering another one anyway.
Cannot make out if Argos in Oban have any in stock as my MacBook says yes but iPad says the nearest is Inverness 100 miles away. I do not want to order and pick up in store till I am actually in Oban as travel is so uncertain.

There seems to be problem with @deptfordmarmoset as a like gets rejected but others seem ok.

Aye, I had noticed that issue too. Seems to be strange things happening on the forum.

A thoroughly grey, windy and cold day here in Suffolk. Did the vacuuming while waiting for the washing to be done and finally went shopping once the cleaned bedding was on the clothes horse. Still very damp under wheel and plenty of puddle dodging to be done. A very meandeing 16 mile route was taken with only the first & last mile being on the same piece of road...

After toast & coffee for lunch I had a sit down only to get restless and so went out for a stroll for another hour as it got dark.

I've also just booked my 8th night away in February thanks to a band I like announcing another of my favourites as their support act. I thought we were supposed to take things easier as we got older
