Another cold sunny day but got a walk at the sunny end of the town and looked at shops I normally drive past as I stayed on the pavement.
My MacBook and iPhone seem to have automatically downloaded and installed the new Calmac app but my iPad refuses as it is only version 12.5.7 and they need over 13.1. I will try an overnight update but I doubt that will work.
The old iPad is getting bit clunky and slow and I have been considering another one anyway.
Cannot make out if Argos in Oban have any in stock as my MacBook says yes but iPad says the nearest is Inverness 100 miles away. I do not want to order and pick up in store till I am actually in Oban as travel is so uncertain.

There seems to be problem with @deptfordmarmoset as a like gets rejected but others seem ok.

My iPad Pro is getting the same issues and will need updating soon.
See what the Apple site has on offer over Black Friday weekend which starts on the 29th. They don’t do discounts anymore but knock money off via free gift card. Good thing is Apple Card’s don’t run out and can can be used for anything inc Apps or music ect. Maybe worth a look , many other retailers then start to match it. Also have a look at Apple own referb site. They are fully checked and have a guarantee. Most are just simply returns and are like new. They do save a nice bit of money off a new one. You need to be quick as they do sell out fast.
