It's quite sad how little there seems to be on LW/MW these days & SW is even worse.

The last three remaining UK LW transmitters are due to be turned off in the middle of next year.
It all depends on how quick the billing companies can get the newer smart meters into every house.

Parts of Hamtun are under water including the railway station, several local roads, Nene side cycle paths & (unfortunately as usual) Billing Aquadrome has been evacuated yet again!
I'm around that way tomorrow, if accessible, and will get some pics..

Just back from my dance class. It's really cold out. Things could be icy in the morning.

I've got an email asking me to complete a survey about my theatre visit yesterday. Why does absolutely everything you do require a survey or a review nowadays.

Just give honest answers, good and bad points. If the bad outweigh the good you may not get another to fill in.

A bike less week spent in sundry medical establishments. Whilst doctors look for ever weirder things to insert and poke and prod
Epic journey trying to get to West Country.
Faffed about in Paddington most of the day. Freezing cold and miserable
Got a sardine special to Carmarthen.
I know it's not my favourite route but having to stand for most of the journey just made it worse.
Shocking amounts of water across the English countryside.
That was chosen by GWR from their top 10 of excuses to offer abused passengers
Now try and get the money back.

after a 4 hr drive, been sitting in a hospital room waiting for Mothers surgery for 4 hrs. I shouldn’t complain, she’s been here 20hrs!

we just got an update, she’s next, but they can’t say exactly when the current surgery, before her, will be done

Another great evening out and now relaxing before bed.

Arrived at Manchester Victoria and the train didn't go anywhere due to waiting for the police to attend for some reason. Couldn't be bothered waiting so got off and walked to the Oxford Road area (about 1.5 miles), had lunch and a couple of drinks before booking into the hotel. Coffee followed by a shower and a half hour doze was just what I needed before heading to Gorilla.

Oh, and on Wednesday the scaffolding will be set up two weeks ahead of the solar panel installation - only found out about this half way to Leeds so will need to warn the neighbours when I get home late Tuesday afternoon.
