Looking like another nice day , holiday morning walk done now resting up with tunes and a milky coffee. Or and 2 double deckers , now bring on the birthday presents. Then it’s a day out at Whitby I’ve a pint or two with my name on.

If he was playing a recorder at all it can't have been me. I'm the most unmusical person I know. Banned in junior school from playing/attempting to play any musical instrument.

I was banned from singing at school and told just to mime.

Meanwhile, a radiator in the lobby has sprung a leak, which has taken the whole building's heating out. This calls for window shutting and maybe an extra layer.

A local councillor wants a cull of the deer population because someone crashed into one!

My younger son appeared to be a deer magnet as he had an early morning commute of about 30 miles. I was forever trying to straighten out the front of his van.
He also for a while had a weekly commute from Norfolk to Oban and managed to hit one on an English motorway somewhere in the Manchester area.

Well, the next car on the road could have availed themselves to some free venison...
