Why do people who have nothing to do ring whilst I am extremely busy and don't understand why I don't want to talk to them .

I managed to see a good number of the classic cars in the Rally of the Tests (Hero Cup) on their way out from Redworth Hall on my route to work this morning, heading up past us and north towards Hadrian's Wall with a finish in Edinburgh tonight. There was a prologue last night around the minor roads near us, with a checkpoint at the (closed) Sun Inn at Wackerfield.

Dry so far in that it is not raining but just a bit damp outside.
Calmac are seriously running out of ships to cover all the routes properly as the last one out of dry dock in Birkenhead has had to go to a different yard for more serious repairs and is not expected back into service before March next year.
We have a small vessel as our only Oban service all winter but since she apparently cannot use any other terminals should be with us all the time unless of course she breaks down as well.
I need a shopping trip but the chances of getting my car on a day trip are remote and my walking is not good enough to cope as well as not being able to balance on two wheeled bike so it is a problem I could do without.
I wonder if I could walk a bike for the distance involved. The Brompton would be handy as it can go in a shopping trolley.

Text from son that he is not home till November 26th otherwise he could take me from the ferry to shops I want and back.
Fort William is a possibility but a longer drive than I would like for a variety of reasons.

Today's 73 plate truck has 239955 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Lutterworth.

And onwards to Aylesbury.. 👍

Good morning from platform 3 at Newcastle rail station. A large cooked breakfast and subsequent rest have been had, but there was absolutely zero phone signal in the hotel to do a catch up while resting - probably to make you sign up for their paid WiFi.

Grey, overcast, chilly and a bit breezier than recently and I think it's been a week since I last saw sunshine.

Over slept. No chance of getting the 0926 for a cycle rendezvous.
Messaged cycling partner.
"Is it today? " was his reply

Left for next train. Very cold went back for thicker jacket. No keys or zapper for the garage. Minutes squandered with security.

Anyway, got thicker jacket and pedalled furiously got the 1026, just. It was 6 mins late fortunately.

Still very cold. Maybe it's the flu injection.
