How many zeros are there in a Billion, and is a British Billion the same as an American Billion?

News people on BBC were saying that 16 Billion dollars, or it might have been 60 Billion has been spent on advertising and promoting the Parties. Is the population 600 million? Can you do the math(s) of how much was spent per capita?

Well, a US billion is 1,000,000,000, whilst a UK billion was 1,000,000,000,000, which became a trillion in the UK in 1975 thanks to Dennis Healy accepting the US version.

I made a mistake cooking tonight's meal! I ordered . Oops sorry cooked 3 fish and chips instead of one being gluten free. So I had to order I mean cook a separate gluten free fish. Never mind I will microwave the spare one tomorrow.

Madam Lexi had some posh Lily's Kitchen stuff with salmon & tuna.

The old lady hat broke her leg last week has finally one home. She was kept in due to her poor kidney function. A nurse said that was due to her lying on he floor for all those hours waiting for an ambulance. So that has cost the NHS hell of a lo more than it should have !
