More wind than before but still no sunshine which makes it feel colder when out.

Just as well I am not going to Oban today as first boat off has been cancelled due to crew sickness and next one is also off due to operational requirements which covers a multitude of possibilities.
In the past I just took any pills I was on with me as a precaution on a day trip but now a full overnight bag is probably wise.
I think the last boat back is also off for some reason.
It could be a major problem for some if stuck in Oban overnight as getting somewhere to sleep could be impossible. At least I have family not too far away I could call on and I never go without my car now.
I have considered taking a trike over for shopping but it would mean a nasty bit of road or chancing 100 yards on a pavement.

Today's excitement is going to chat up a very nice young lady but then she will spoil it all by sticking needles into me.

Morning.
It is grey and wet here.
I have finished reading my Billy Connolly book Windswept and Interesting. It was interesting. I was thinking about how many books I've read this year. I've mentioned before that I am a slow reader but I remember some bits from each one. I tend to read war stories mainly aircraft related although I have read 3 land based war stories. One book was about the war in North Africa whilst the other 2 were about the formation of the SAS and SBS. I read Mark Cavendish &s book which was interesting. At the moment I have started 2 books , one was a Wycliffe detective book which I'm finding very boring even quite a few pages in. The other book is by David Mitchell about our kings and queens which so far seems to be a bit of a rant. I think I'll go back to war stories!
