I think a fox has been in our garden. I found a long poo in a drink bowl. My wife found one deposited in something else earlier on in the year. It seems as though it thinks these things are litter trays .

Cloudy day but forecast to have sunny intervals. We live in hope it will not rain instead.
Just been summoned to the surgery to get bloods checked. No idea why but it may have been sparked off by my request for a refill of iron tablets I am currently on. Software decided I really wanted cunningly and not currently.
Somebody has posted On FB copies of an old guide book he found in the charity shop. Adverts for all the shops we had then has prompted a wave of nostalgia for the good old days when we had proper shops and you knew everybody.
The supermarket systematically targeted all the shops till they all had to close as they had cut prices to the bone but increased them as soon as the others closed. All selling tourist tat instead of anything useful tho' they had a go that as well for a while selling souvenir mugs for example which were almost identical to those stocked by another shop but 50p cheaper.
We do have a fish shop and a part time butcher out on a small industrial estate which is not handy for the old and infirm with no car.

Good morning from Suffolk where the greyness continues. Coffee has been had and a bowl of porridge is about to be microwaved as a late breakfast/early elevensies.
I'm thinking about chucking a bike into the boot of the car and heading either to Cambridge or Diss for a ride - by the time I've decided which bike, which base and which route it'll probably be too late anyhow.
