Today's shopping turned out to be a three pannier load due to the bulk - two at Aldi in Martlesham, home to empty them then one at Lidl in Felixstowe. Mostly kept to minimal assist level just to help with the weight of the bike & shopping. There's something weird about the battery level monitor on this bike as I got home on the first leg with 28% available showing, went back out with the same levels and two miles later it suddenly dropped to 16% - I've had something similar happen before while not in use, but never mid-ride.

In other news, the insurance claim I submitted for the hole in the bath has already been settled. Claim submitted 10:55 on Friday and the money (less excess) was in my bank by mid afternoon today which I call good service, so a thumbs up to Aviva for that one.

My Dad ended up spending about four days in hospital after a grinder disc broke and caused a four inch gash in his thigh. I can't remember the exact details as I was pretty young at the time.

First day of the working week completed. We will all be called back to the office for five weeks for training on a slightly different role in a few weeks. What a terrifying thought having to meet people.

The other problem is the weight I've put on after my accident means none of my work shirts fit me properly any more! May be time to visit the charity shop!

Been to my dance class this evening. Just relaxing now.

Don't you Remember,
The Fifth of November,
'Twas Gunpowder Treason Day,
I let off my gun,
And made'em all run.
And Stole all their Bonfire away.
I remember, it's just that Mischief Night is the 1st of November round these parts.
