Forecast says drizzle and a brisk wind which is exactly what we have today.
My knees are suffering a bit this morning after the cycle run yesterday. That is the result of a long layoff due to bad weather for weeks.
Bread is on the go but since I have gone lazy and got a machine there is nothing to attend to for the next three hours.
Just got a text from OVO telling me that since they are in my area to phone for an appointment where they will almost certainly tell me there are no appointments available.

I did phone OVO who keep pestering me to make an appointment get a smart meter fitted.
Guess what? There are no appointments available just as I predicted.

Driving down Burnthouses Lane on the way to work this morning the views through the trees and hedges have come back again, although the ground appears to be very orange.

Good morning from a 2nd floor hotel room in overcast Brighton where the usual post cooked breakfast rest is being had.

Don't know what I've done to upset the travel gods, but my outbound train has been cancelled again! At least there's a more frequent service from here and there's one 15 minutes earlier that I can catch.

Good morning from a 2nd floor hotel room in overcast Brighton where the usual post cooked breakfast rest is being had.

Don't know what I've done to upset the travel gods, but my outbound train has been cancelled again! At least there's a more frequent service from here and there's one 15 minutes earlier that I can catch.

Could be worse. Northern are saying their business is moving people so they are going to use more rail replacement buses. And they are under Government control.
