Mild and overcast here chez Casa Reynard.

I did not sleep well again. Mind won't switch off, and my right knee is uncomfortable. Ah well, hey ho. Met up with a friend for our weekly dog walk. We set the world to rights, swapped foodie tips, and she gave me a big bag of green chillies. Will have to think of something to do with those. They are not especially hot. I am thinking of pickling them.

Stopped off at the book exchange on the way home, but nothing of any great interest this time.

It is just about time for luncheon.

Got out for a trike run at last but not the nice relaxed bimble I had intended as it turned out to be a rather damp slog.
I should have known better of course as it is quite nice down at sea level and even up to 200ft above but another 200 ft puts me into low cloud or light rain which is fairly common.
Traffic was also heavier than I expected but not too bad.
Passed a couple of cyclists. One a "racing snake" who is local and a woman on a Brompton who may have been local but more likely from the camp site which had a surprising number of vans and motorhomes.
This road is the only one handy I feel comfortable on with a trike as the main road has too much traffic at 60mph and visibility is not good in parts.
The only other place is 12 miles away where there should not be too many motorhomes blocking all the parking spaces at this time of year.
Surprising number of touroid wandering aimlessly around and it is renovation season on many Main St properties with skips outside and stuff being chucked out of upstairs windows over the pavement.
The MacDonald Arms is also closed for renovation and an enormous skip is outside there as they are closed for the winter.
